Sota YT Ventures

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

1. Overview

Sota YT Ventures ("the App") is a private, internal-use automation tool operated by Sota Mikami ("the Operator"). The App publishes educational documentary videos to YouTube channels owned by the Operator using the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API.

The App is not offered as a product or service to third parties. The Operator is the sole authorized user of the App. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles data accessed through Google OAuth on channels that the Operator personally owns.

2. Data accessed via Google OAuth

When the Operator authorizes the App, the App accesses the following data through Google APIs on the Operator's own YouTube channels:

  • Channel identifiers and metadata (channel ID, channel name).
  • Video metadata (title, description, tags, thumbnail, upload status).
  • Performance metrics (view count, watch time, click-through rate, audience retention) from YouTube Analytics.
  • OAuth refresh tokens issued by Google to maintain authenticated API access.

The App does not access any data from YouTube channels not owned by the Operator. The App does not access user content from any party other than the Operator.

3. How data is used

Data accessed by the App is used exclusively to:

  • Upload new videos to the Operator's YouTube channels.
  • Update metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) on those videos.
  • Analyze performance metrics to improve future content quality.

Data is not sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Operator's own YouTube channels.

4. Data storage

OAuth credentials and performance metrics are stored in the Operator's self-hosted infrastructure (Hetzner Cloud servers in Germany, encrypted at rest by NocoDB and n8n). Credentials and metric records are accessible only to the Operator and are not exposed via any public endpoint.

Video files generated by the App are stored temporarily during upload and deleted from local storage after successful publication to YouTube.

5. Data retention

Performance metrics are retained indefinitely for content optimization purposes. OAuth refresh tokens are retained until the Operator revokes them via Google account settings. If access is revoked, the App is unable to access the Operator's YouTube channels and the tokens are no longer useful.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on the following infrastructure to operate:

  • Google APIs (YouTube Data API v3, YouTube Analytics API, Cloud Text-to-Speech).
  • Hetzner Cloud (server hosting in Germany).
  • n8n (workflow automation, self-hosted).
  • NocoDB (database, self-hosted).
  • OpenRouter / DeepSeek (LLM API for script generation).

Data accessed via Google OAuth is processed only within the Operator's self-hosted infrastructure and is not shared with any third party other than the API providers listed above to the minimum extent necessary to operate the App.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Revoking access

The Operator may revoke the App's access at any time via Google Account permissions.

9. Contact

For questions regarding this Privacy Policy, contact the Operator at ztkrw5467@gmail.com.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
